El guineà Cécé Koly, afincat a Figueres, és mestre percussionista del dununs. Actualment dóna classes de percussió i participa en la organització de tallers de percussió i dansa africana.

Juntament amb el mestre del djembé Mamady Keïta toquen al grup Babaniko, que gràcies a la seva gran professionalitat han aconseguit reconeixement internacional.

Daniel Aguayo és l’altre teclista del grup. Nascut a Barcelona va començar els seus estudis de música als 6 anys i de piano als 11.

Va formar part durant 2 anys d’un grup de música d’estil Pop.

 

Actualment combina la seva professió dins del camp de la Tecnologia amb l’estudi musical. Ha col.laborat  com a instrumentista per altres músics, i ha composat temes propis i per a bandes sonores.

En David Sàez va nèixer a Barcelona el 1973. Es va afeccionar per la bateria a l’any 1989 i, des de llavors, ha participat en diversos projectes i grups tocant qualsevol tipus d’estil davant totes les audiències possibles. El David té debilitat pels grups de rock progressiu dels 70’s i 80’s. Val a dir que ell mateix es reconeix com un mica retro, però quan l’art és bo i ben fet, això no importa. A l’hora de tocar la bateria sempre ha volgut emular a dos monstres com són: Bill Bruford i Neil Peart.

Actualment ha entrat a formar part de Madame Zozó, grup de rock eclèctic obert a diverses influències.

També toca en una banda de versions de rhythm and blues, The Next Club.

De la seva trajectòria destaca la gravació del disc A way out del grup Negua.

Jesús Moix, apassionat per les noves músiques de principis dels anys 70, va decidir aprendre a tocar la guitarra, de forma autodidacta, als 16 anys. Des d’aquell moment l’interès per altres instruments (sintetitzadors, gaites, flautes, djembé, etc...) va anar a més, fins al punt de crear una obra, on combina diferentes sonoritats, ritmes i timbres. Els avenços en les noves tecnologies li han permès desenvolupar aquest treball, des del seu estudi de gravació personal.

La música clàssica, la celta, el rock simfònic, les músiques ètniques, les sardanes i el new age, han influit en ell.

Durant l’estada a les Highlands d’Escòcia, l’any 2.002 va rebre classes particulars de gaita escocesa impartides per un professor nadiu i va entrar en contacte amb diversos músics de la zona: el gaiter del grup Battlefield Band, Duncan MacGillivray, el guitarrista Iain Strachan i el productor, del popular cantant nord-americà Gerry Rafferty, Giles Twigg. Aquesta experiència també es veu plasmada dins del Cap de Creus.

L’any 2.003 va iniciar-se en la pràctica de les percussions africanes, realitzant un curs de djembé impartit pel mestre guineà Cecé Koly, afincat a Figueres. Seguint amb aquest aprenentatge, ha cursat 2 stages més de perfeccionament d’aquest instrument i del dum-dum, durant els estius 2.005 i 2.006.

Al llarg de la seva carrera musical ha col.laborat creant les bandes sonores dels següents projectes audiovisuals: 

-     Picnic, curtmetratge d’animació en plastilina (2.001).
-          Residencia Caronte, curtmetratge d’animació en 3D (2.001).
-          L’escorxador, reportatge sobre les granges de pollastre catalanes (2.003).
-          Luz, curtmetratge de cinema per a un treball de final de curs (2.004).

El pianista i compositor, José Antonio Armario, llicenciat en Musicologia és professor de música a l’institut de secundària I.E.S. Les Llaunes de Badalona.

Ha estat membre del Carme Vilar Grup, orquestra de ball i Zona Soul, grup de música Soul y Rhythm and Blues. A més a més, ha col.laborat esporàdicament amb membres de l’Orquestra Aquarium.

També ha composat música per a curtmetratges, un dels quals va ser nominat com a millor banda sonora al festival de video independent a Sant Sebastià. El tema principal Amor bajo el agua de dos mares, es troba al seu disc Sueños de lluvia y arco iris.

La violinista Mariona Ustrell, nascuda a Sabadell l’any 1.986, combina els seus estudis de la carrera de Ciències Ambientals a la UAB amb el 6º curs de Grau Mitjà al Conservatori Municipal de Terrassa.

Aquest any ha estat guardonada amb una beca per a tocar a la Jove Orquestra Camerata XXI de la Diputació de Tarragona.

Toca el violí a la Orquestra Simfònica del Conservatori de Terrassa des de fa un any.

Actualment dóna classes de violí a l’escola Ariadna de Sabadell.

TEMA COMPOSAT, ARRANJAT I PRODUIT PER JESÚS MOIX GARCIA

El barceloní Pepe Acevedo és un guitarrista autodidacta.

Centrat en la composició i producció de temes propis de rock simfònic i influit per l’estreta relació que ha mantingut al llarg dels anys amb grups de música celta, ha publicat un parell de discos.

 

En aquesta ocasió col.labora amb el grup, tocant les guitarres elèctriques i la guitarra midi, per realitzar el directe.  

Cap de Creus és el títol del projecte musical presentat per Jesús Moix. Es tracta d’una obra de música instrumental de 40 minuts de durada,  de la qual s’adjunten uns fragments.

És una música difícil de classificar, per la gran diversitat de gèneres musicals que l’han influit, com ara: new age, rock, música celta, música simfònica, bandes sonores, world music (sardanes).  Aquesta diversitat es reflexa en la utilització d’una gran varietat d’instruments.

Tot i ser inclassificable, la podriem incloure dins de la categoria de música instrumental contemporànea, definint-la com a folk simfònic.

El discurs de l’obra reflecteix d’una manera molt personal la visió que l’autor té del Parc Natural.

El compositor vol transmetre un viatge imaginari per diferents emplaçaments del Cap de Creus, a través del desenvolupament musical.

Per aquest motiu l’obra consta d’una única peça, que es podria dividir en dos parts. Aquesta unitat permet endinsar-nos profundament i acostar-nos a la sensació que experimenta l’autor, a l’estar envoltat d’aquest paissatge.

L’objectiu principal del treball és aconseguir la simbiosi entre música i paissatge, realitzant una sèrie de concerts als indrets més significatius de la zona. Per exemple: el Monastir de St. Pere de Rodes, la ciutadella de Roses, El castell de St Ferran de Figueres, les platges de Llançà, Cadaqués, Port de la Selva i el Far del Cap de Creus, entre d’altres.

El projecte compta amb la col.laboració del departament de cultura de la Diputació de Girona, el suport del Parc Natural del Cap de Creus i  de l’Ajuntament de Roses. 

Cap de Creus és una obra musical inspirada en el Parc Natural del Cap de Creus. 

L’autor Jesús Moix, fascinat des de sempre per aquest paratge, comença a experimentar la necessitat d’expressar de forma musical la bellesa de l’indret.

Es tracta d’una obra instrumental contemporània, que combina instruments musicals d’origens diferents, però amb un predomini de la influència mediterrànea i celta.

Música i sons es fusionen per a transmetre el sentiment que li sorgeix a l’artista des del seu interior. És la sensació produida al visitar el Parc. D’aquesta manera, Jesús Moix dóna a l’oient la possibilitat de refugiar-se del ritme frenètic de la societat.

L’objectiu d’aquest projecte és aconseguir la combinació entre l’entorn i la música creada amb aquesta fi. És per això que proposem organitzar una sèrie d’actuacions a diverses localitats de l’entorn del Cap de Creus, on difondre el missatge de l’obra. 

Organització de concerts:

Per dur a terme un concert de format standard a l’aire lliure serien necessaris els següents elements:

- Sonorització amb 10/20.000W
- Taula de 40 canals
- 7/10 monitors
- Amplificadors (3 guit. elèctriques, 1 baix, 2 teclats)
- rack efectes i dinàmica
- taula monitors 20/40 canals + 5 equalitzadors
- Microfonia (1 micro bouzouki, 1 micro flauta travassera, 2 micros veus, 1 micro uillean pipe, 1 micro tin/low whistles i 1 micro violí).

El pressupost d’aquest punt l’hauria de determinar l’entitat o empresa contractant del grup musical, format per 11 músics. Aquest hauria de tenir en compte les següents despeses: dietes, assegurances, desplaçament, allotjament, etc.

Per altra banda, s’hauria de considerar el lloguer d’alguns instruments musicals, com ara: el piano i  d’altres segons convingui.

L’Anthony Derek Jackson és el baixista de la formació. Nascut a Glasgow, va començar de ben jove a tocar  la guitarra en grups de la seva ciutat. Als 24 anys inicià estudis de piano i més endavant va entrar a la universitat de Birmingham, per completar els seu estudis musicals.

A més a més ha estudiat percussió i va ser membre d’una coral.

 

En els últims 10 anys s’ha volcat en l’estudi del baix, participant en diversos projectes d’estils ben diferents com ara hip-hop, jazz o pop. 

Víctor Fernández és productor i programador del centre de creació musical Molinet, situat a Santa Coloma de Gramanet.

Toca la gaita (uilleann pipe i gaita gallega) així com flautes al grup Joglars e Senglars, interessats en el folk, però influits per altres tipus de música com el jazz, rock, clàssica... .

Va començar els seus estudis de solfeig, armonia i guitarra a l’Escola de Música de Badalona. Va formar part del grup de gaites del Centro Gallego de Barcelona, durant onze anys. A més ha gravat amb Adolfo Osta, Adrián Morales, Juan Canovas, Juantón, Abdeljalil Kodssi, Kábala, Seven Drunken Nights, Soulid, Joan Ibáñez, Isabel de Mérida, José Luís Lozano i ha col.laborat tant en directe com a estudi amb diverses formacions de folk i rock. És productor de la banda sonora de la sèrie de TV3 Pets and Pets.
